If you could rename Mars, what would you pick for the new name and why?
If I could rename the plant Mars I would pick the name Blueberry Alyssa. I would pick this name because there is a 13 year old girl from Louisiana who is training to become an astronaut. She wants to be the first person to step foot on Mars. The girl's name is Alyssa Carson. Her nickname at NASA is Blueberry. This is a really big dream and if her dream is able to come true, I think we should rename Mars in her honor. She is willing to sacrifice never seeing her family again to go to Mars. I hope she would be able to come back to her family if she does get to go to Mars, but that is her dream and she is not going to let anything stand in her way. Naming a planet after this girl would also be a lesson for other girls and kids to accomplish their dreams.
